No one's talked about this on my flist, I don't think, so I thought of talking about it. I'm not sure if any of you know, but a family tree of some of the main characters has been posted at jkrowling.com, behind the door in the secret room. I have to comment on a few things about it, alas. lol! ;)

First off, I love the names Luna and her husband gave to their two children. lol! Second, James Jr's middle name is Sirius. Lol! I knew Harry wasn't going to forget about his godfather. Not only that, but my James/Sirius shipper in me...sees that. LOL! Third, I had no idea Bill and Fleur had three kids! I thought they only had one. :/ And, the fourth, I think JK just confirmed that Charlie may just be gay, to me anyway. I don't know if it's me, but I think it confirms it, basically due to the fact that JK has this habit of making all straight characters get married and procreate. And guess what? Charlie is the only living Weasley who hasn't had kids. And isn't married. Sure, he could be straight, but...I don't think so. ;)

Oh, and happy belated New Years and Christmas. lol!

Edit to add: Okay, so I finally got to watch the video where she was drawing the family tree. Thanks to Cork for confirming what Jo said. I can't say I agree with her one that, and I think I may be looking a lot into it, but I think he IS, but she's afraid of saying it. I could see it in her expression. She paused before she answered, confirmed Dumbledore's gayness, paused again...said she didn't think Charlie was gay (when asked the question). Hmmm, I think someone is actually quite scared now to reveal all the facts. But don't take my word for it. I just think...with the reaction she got with Dumbledore (not at Carniege Hall), but in other places...I think she decided not to add more fuel to the fire.

Then again, she may never have really thought about Charlie's love life, so she really had to think when asked if he was gay or not. *shrug*

Oh yeah. So, I didn't think I could be more of a perv, but I have been proven wrong. Transformers Slash for the win! :D lol! I have read my first slash fic in that fandom (er, no, no robot sex. Or is hologram! sex robot sex?) and I have found a new fandom! Whee! Too bad there arn't that many good fics out there except for the one I read (The Human Series by keelywolfe. :/

Okay, so in recent interviews with Alan Rickman, he mentions twice the existence of Harry Potter porn sites. Is it only me but does this kind of unsettle anyone? I don't know, I don't feel too comfortable with Alan knowing about this and actually talking about it in interviews. I didn't have a problem when Jason Issaccs said he read fanfic with Lucius so he could see how the fans pictured him (and come on, Jason is a pretty opened minded guy, I'm almost positive he read some slash), but Alan...he hasn't even read the fanfic, but still, I just feel very odd that Alan is talking about it. Too much, in my opinion. What is he trying to say with that? I have an inkling what he's trying to do/say, and I don't like it. Then again, Alan does seem to be more on the conservative side, I would think. *sigh*

Also, no idea if this is just me again, but I don't like the word "porn". I rather like "erotica" (more sophisticated and a lot of the HP adult rated fanfics ARE erotica) or the more internet used word pr0n! :D

I just noticed something. JK said in her Book Tour in New York that portraits can only move around in one setting, aka "location". But if you read book 5 and 6, Phineas Nigellus moves from the headmasters office to Grimmauld Place. So, again, she's contradicting herself. She really, seriously, needs to re-read her books. Especially if she's planning an encyclopedia of the world, people, places, etc.

So Alfonso Cuaron thought Lupin was a "gay junkie". Lol! Priceless words! I had a feeling he thought Lupin was gay. I bet Alfonso is a closet puppy shipper, lol! Heck, maybe he's a closet Snarry shipper, if that intense scene where Snape gets into Harry's face is anything to go by. Ah, Alfonso, my lovely, a lot of fandom thought Lupin was gay too. ;) Even David thought he was gay, I believe. *g*

Oh, and Tom Felton's face when he hears about Dumbledore's outing. lol! I have to agree with him on one thing though. Richard Harris and Michael Gambon seem like really straight men, so they make Albus seem straight in the movies. Which just confirms my idea that Ian McKellan should have been Dumbledore from the beginning, or instead of Michael Gambon, at least.

Thank you for confirming this, Jo. Seriously. It WAS kind off OBVIOUS since you introduced him in the first book and when you talked about his friendship with Gillert, but I'll ignore that so I can plant a million kisses on your person. I'll also ignore your inability to understand those who are torn about Snape, or who actually love him, for having an actual GAY character in the Harry Potter series. No worries, I'll protect you from the torch carrying mean Christians and Catholics who will undoubtly find more reason to hate you and Harry.

All I can say is THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! And yes, Jo, there is going to be even MORE of an influx of fic, not that there wasn't already some. Now, Jo, please confirm that Albus Severus and Scorpius are also gay and get together. ;)

I am still reeling and screaming and I can't stop smiling. God, what a day. I was feeling so low this past day and this is the first time Jo actually made my whole day with something she said. I KNEW NY was going to be even better than LA or NO. I had been pondering about sending JK a letter asking her about homosexuality in the Wizarding World and if any of the characters were gay. Never mind now, she answered it! Woot! I'm still wondering what the Wizarding World's stance on homosexuality is though. The same as the Muggle world, the complete opposite (good), worse than the Muggle World? Maybe I should still write that letter. Hmmm.

Dude, Ian McKellan! He should have been Dumbledore from the beginning in my opinion, either way. :D But Ian IS Dumbledore! Seriously!

I don't know if any of you have been keeping up with JK's two recent readings in LA and New Orleans, but I have and there's two particular things she said that made me go, "Aha! I knew it!" and "No! He didn't! That's so cruel!"

In Los Angeles she said:

(So this completely contradicts what she says in New Orleans. I don't know, but if you like someone, you shouldn't be thinking they DESERVE to die...should you? Or maybe she meant it in a way that he deserved to die because his life was a complete fuck up and who would want to live a life like that? Jo, I need more clearity, please!)

And in New Orleans:
